Fun Asian Restaurant in NYC for wife's birthday?

Looking for a fun place to go for dinner in NYC. Asian food. Price is not critical. Not Benihana. Thanks|||For a different time, you can go to Lucky Cheng's--all the waitresses are guys in drag and they put on a show. Also check out Ruby Foo's, which is Asian fusion and really good. For something different and more upscale, check out Ninja.|||The tasting menu at Megu Tribeca (not Megu midtown) will be one of the best meals of your life if you are into gorgeous, decadently presented Asian-fusion food.

It's also one of the most expensive meals in nyc. Slightly more conservative options include Morimoto, Spice Market, and a couple of holes in the wall with superb sushi: Yasuda in midtown, and Blue Ribbon Sushi downtown.|||you can try this one: http://searestaurant.com/

i have been there many times for dinner, the food is good and the setting is so good, you should try.

(should go there on weekday nights, and forget about weekend nights, there will be alot of people, long wait....)
