Is there something wrong psychologically with a woman who goes into debt buying designer products?

I worded the question kind of weird, but what I'm trying to say is, do you think that a woman who puts herself into debt by buying designer clothes and fancy dinners has a psychological problem? I ask this because I know a woman who makes around $70,000 a year, but is living paycheck to paycheck and is in debt now because she frequently spends money on things like Dolce and Gabana sunglasses ($300 each) or other designer products. She also likes to eat out, at places like Benihana and expensive steakhouses. So, besides having an issue with handling her finances, do you think a woman like this has some kind of psychological problem that makes her feel the need to have designer things all the time?

Thanks|||Yes, it is a stress illness. Shopping and spending gives her a feel good factor and when depression sets in because of mounting debt, its a spending spree again. Such women usually have a mental breakdown.|||Definitely, yes. Her reward system is messed up, sorta like with drug addicts.|||Yes.
