Benihana or p.f chang's?

which is better for a birthday dinner with my girlfriend?|||If it is a long term girlfriend, PF Chang's.

If it is a new girlfriend, Benihana.

PF Chang's - Good atmosphere, but you will have to carry the conversation. This is easy to do in a long term relationship where you know each other and have plenty to talk about.

Benihana - Good for the first few dates with a girl. The atmosphere is such that there is interaction with the "cook" as well as the other people at the table. This can relieve some of the first date anxieties that may exists.|||PF Changs food is much better so I would go there. But Benihana is more romantic with them cooking in front of you.|||I agree with Jon.. although food is better at PF Chang..

If it is a b-day dinner with girlfriend, why don't you go to Melting Pot? It is a fondue restaurant. The one I hae gone to is quite nice.. in Troy, on Big Beaver. GIrls love it.

You can get just appetizer, (cheese fondue) and dessert, (chocolate fondue), OR get the whole mea that also includes meats and fishes. (you cook it in broth at your table)

it's really a different idea and something she will remember.|||P.F. Changs, without question. Benihana is loud, noisy, you have to sit at a table w/ strangers, and you will not have her complete attention b/c the chef prepares the food right in front of you.

Also, Benihana puts so much butter and oil in each dish, it's hard to eat it. If you like this type of restaurant, try Kobe Steak house instead.|||it depends what you are loking for. i love pf changs. the food is awesome. but if you want something fun and entertaining and don't mind sitting with someone you might not know then the other would be goodtoo. but if it is just you and your girlfriend i would go with pf changs. it is more romantic. i think she would like it.|||If I had to choose one, I'd probably go for PF Changs. Unless there are going to be more diners than just the two of you. For a bunch of people, Benihana's.

They both serve okay food but I would hesitate to call either one authentic. I would much rather find a real Teppanyaki restaurant if you want to capture what Benihana is trying to do, or an upscale Chinese restaurant for real Chinese food (sweet %26amp; sour pork, pork fried rice, almond chicken don't count!).

Good luck and bon appetit!|||P.F. Changs, and make sure you get the ribs appetizer. She'll lick the sauce off your fingers. LOL|||i agree with john s. his answer is right on.|||P.F. Changs. Good food, great environment. oh and get the lettuce wraps app. they are amazing!|||definately p.f. chang's

my fave|||Benihana is entertaining, and pfs is casual, I woluld go for entertaining so the night is fun.
