We got a little bit dressed when we went to Benihana's, cause we wanted to make it a festive evening. (We were celebrating my daughter's b'day, and had drinks earlier at the Sun Dial.) The food is reliably good. Not the best Japanese I've ever had -- but certainly not bad, and it's a little 'fancier" than some other hibachi places.
I've not been to Two Urban Licks -- but it's on my list of places to go, per recommendations from friends. I like the idea that they have live jazz, and one could wear a dress without feeling out of place. The menu also looks good.
I think you'll be happy in either place. The deciding factor: are you in the mood for Japanese or upscale tapas?Anyone been to Benihana in Atlanta?
I haven't been to that one, but all of the Benihana's are the same. The food is good for the price. You can dress up or go casual. I have been to several around the USA and in NY where it all started by Rocky Aoki who died back in '08.Anyone been to Benihana in Atlanta?
