How long do leftovers last in fridge?

i ate at Benihana on friday and i have leftovers. would it be okay if i ate the leftovers tomorrow for lunch. are they edible?|||fish 1 day

red meat 3-4 days

white meat 2-3 days

vegetables 3 days max

ensure they are covered and stored above raw foods like fresh fish or meats to avoid cross contamination and reheat to at least 65 - 75 deg C|||Proper handling of any leftovers can determine how safe they will be to eat later (including how long it took for you to get the leftovers from the restaurant into your fridge). If they sat in a warm car for an hour you're taking chances.

Refrigerate or freeze leftovers, and other perishables within two hours of preparation or purchase.

Be sure your refrigerator is set at 40掳F. Harmful food-borne organisms can grow if temperatures are kept above 40掳F.

Properly handled leftovers can usually be kept in the refrigerator for about four days; if not eaten within that time, they should be discarded.|||It all depends on the food, how long it was kept at room temp before you put it in the fridge, and how long that food typically lasts as a leftover. Usually, if you eat it the next day you're fine, unless you had it riding around with you all night and didn't get it back in the fridge quickly.

No safe answer here... you have to use common sense.|||normally 3-4 days is a general rule. most people dont eat them past 2 days. but it all depends, take a look at the CDC's website, and find the food that you have. like if its chicken, or fish.. etc. and see what they recommend.|||yes
