Can you freeze garlic butter?

On Saturday evening we went to Benihana's. We bought a pint on their garlic butter. The manager said after a week we should throw it out because it is all natural, handmade, no preservatives. It's now Friday and we still have some left, can I freeze it? it is so yummy I hate to just throw it away....

Thank you ahead of time.|||Yes, you can freeze ANY type of butter.|||Yes you can freeze garlic butter. I'm not sure what kind of container it comes in but as long as it has a tight fitting lid it should be okay but might grow ice crystals on the top. If it's in a foil wrapper, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap then foil before freezing.

You don't have to melt it before using, you can set it in the fridge, or on the counter to thaw if you're using it that day....this will soften the butter to spreadable consistency for use on whatever!

It's you're a seafood lover you can use garlic butter like this on half shell mussells. Top each mussell with garlic butter and bake in a 400 degree oven for 5-6 minutes.

Or toss garlic butter into warm pasta and top with chicken cacciatore. YUM!|||you can but you will have to melt it to be able to use it- still good brushed over bread sprinkled with cheese!|||Yes, you can freeze your garlic butter|||Yes, you should be able to freeze it and use it another day
