What do you guys think of benihana?

my pastors are sushi lovers and i want to buy them dinner there. i have never been there but have heard good things about them. Is it to pricey? What would you rate it form a 1 star to a 5 star place? thanks! What do you guys think of benihana?
Benihana is just $20-30 for mediocre food (actually, methinks their food was tasteless compared to other teppan restaurants I went to for the same price and I will not go there again) made for the American upper middle mass. If you want to give them something nice, take them to a decent family own Japanese restaurant instead. The food is most likely to be much better. If you're in Riverside, there's restaurant on Mission in downtown near the Clark Nutritional Center like within 2-3 blocks (Went there twice during my college days) that are owned by Koreans. They have an all you can eat sushi bar and you could order at the table (lunch is cheaper). The place is pretty decent. If you're willing to drive out a little, there's a good Japanese buffet called Tokai in the Puente Hill mall (off Azusa exit on the 60 in Rowland Heights). The food is definitely quality compared to Chinese buffet sushi. I think they have couple of other branches too, but that's the one I go to. But if you don't want to drive that far, I would rather take a gamble and go to one of the Japanese restaurants in Victoria Garden than go to Benihana or something in Chino Hill, they have couple of good ones there. What do you guys think of benihana?
Skip it! Try going to a Asian buffet instead. You get a larger selection of food and the sushi is all you can eat.

Benihana is just quick overpriced stirfry to me. I prefer the buffets or the smaller Japanese teriyaki places that have bento boxed deals and a larger selection of sushi. What do you guys think of benihana?
Since you have never been to Benihana, I'm not certain if you are aware of this, but Benihana specializes in Teppan-yaki (grilled food), not sushi.

If your pastors love sushi, take them to a Sushi restaurant. There are tons of Sushi restaurants in and around your area and at all price ranges. A simple search of Sushi restaurants will give you a good list. What do you guys think of benihana?
I would give it 4 stars. It is about $25 per person. But you have to think of it as food and entertainment.
It has a 50% average rating.
